Investing in Renewable Energy

Over the past few years, we’ve made great progress in improving our energy efficiency — from upgrading to LED lighting to implementing smart energy management systems. Installing solar panels was the natural next step in our journey toward sustainability.

Working with The Little Green Energy Company, a trusted partner in renewable energy solutions, we installed over 1,200 solar panels across multiple Vines BMW sites, delivering a total system capacity of 600 kilowatts. This investment strengthens our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) commitments while ensuring long-term energy savings.

Real Results with Lasting Impact

The installation is projected to achieve substantial results:

  • Approximately £1 million in energy savings over five years

  • A reduction of 148 tons of CO₂ emissions per year

  • Clean, renewable energy powering our BMW dealerships daily

This project demonstrates that sustainability and smart business decisions can go hand in hand — helping us reduce operational costs while investing in a cleaner future.
